How to Maximize Website Traffic

Increase your return on investment by maximizing your Buy Website Traffic. Both on- and off-site optimization is necessary to reap large rewards. Many techniques are at your disposal to increase the Search Engine Optimization of your website. Spread the word about your website on other relevant sites to maximize the traffic for any site you have, whether the site is about spiders or cars.

1. Research the keywords that users type in to search for your sort of product or service. Use a free keyword search tool such as the one provided by Google. Pick keywords that users enter when they want more information or when they are ready to buy. Put yourself in their shoes and think of words you would type in if you wanted to buy what you have to offer.

2. Type in your chosen keywords one by one into one of the major search engines such as Google, MSN or Yahoo. See if your website comes up in search results. If you can't find it, then your potential customers won't find it either. They will find your website easier if you have a high placement in search results. A high placement means that your website shows up in the first few pages of search results. If your website is on the first page and listed as the first result, then searchers will view your website as having high authority and as highly relevant to what they are looking for. You will receive more more traffic as a result.

3. Revise each of your webpages so your keyword for that page is located near the top of the page. Search engines place more emphasis on text that appears first. If you have a graphic that appears at the top of your page, you can place a short paragraph above that graphic to give the search engines the information they need to properly place your site. This is called on-site optimization.

4. Write three articles every day using your chosen keywords. Focus on one keyword per article and keep writing about various topics using your keywords. Post these articles to various article directories. Your articles should be informative and at least 400 words long. Count the number of words you have with the Word Count tool of your word processor. If your word processor does not have that tool, then use the estimate of roughly one page in length if you type single-space using 12-point font.

5. Comment on related blogs. This provides necessary backlinks for off-site optimization. Leave a useful comment that for the blog's readers. Show genuine interest in the post you are commenting on. Link to your site using a relevant keyword if allowed.

6. Search your keywords again after one week to check site placement. If your site's placement has improved, work on improving it even more. If it has moved down or not at all, review the actions you have taken for areas to revise and improve upon. Continue searching for more keywords to use, placing the keywords towards the front of your webpage, writing articles and commenting on other blogs. Keep repeating this process.
